2009 Haras 'Estate' Cabernet Sauvignon - Maipo Valley, Chile

Vina Haras de Pirque is located at the foothills of the Andes mountains, in the Alto Maipo Valley. Not only do they produce excellent wine, but they also breed thoroughbred horses for racing and riding. The 2008 Estate Cab Sauv is full-bodied and complex, a very good value for the price. Pleasant blackberry flavors, ripe tannins and cedar notes dominate the palate, and this wine will continue to improve for 5+ years. Drink with aged cheese, red meat or pork.
