2008 Tamaya 'Reserva' Syrah - Limari Valley, Chile

Vina Casa Tamaya is located in the Limari Valley, 250 miles north of Santiago and 12 miles from the Pacific Ocean. The land is pristine and rich in alkaline minerals, with a dry climate influenced by cool ocean breezes from the Pacific. The Syrah is co-fermented with 5% Viognier which gives a floral, fruity lift to the baked blackberry and savory flavors of the Syrah. It has a round, velvety texture with wild berry, violet, dried herb and exotic spice flavors. This is a great value for cool-climate Syrah!
