Delivery & Shipping

By placing an order for wine, the Buyer warrants that they are at least 21 years of age, and that they will be responsible for the shipment of this wine being received by a person at least 21 years of age.

Title for shipped or delivered wine passes to Buyer at Puro Wine in Manhattan when wine is accepted by a delivery service or common carrier. Wine is shipped upon confirmation of payment. Buyer assumes all risks, including risk of loss, from and after acceptance by a delivery service or common carrier.

Deliveries Within New York City:

Free delivery, portions of lower Manhattan:

Puro Wine offers free local delivery by foot with a $50 minimum purchase, or a $5 fee applies. Delivery is available Thursday through Saturday, from 12:00 pm to 6:00 pm. Local delivery at other times may be arranged on request at the discretion of Puro Wine.

Free local delivery boundaries are:

North to Houston Street
South to Worth Street
East to Allen Street
West to 6th Avenue


Manhattan Delivery:

Puro Wine delivers 1-2 cases of wine by courier service throughout Manhattan for a flat rate of $12.

Delivery times are Monday-Sunday, 12:00-8:00pm, and a three hour window is required for delivery.

Rates for orders of three or more cases will be priced based on weight and distance. Please call 212-925-0090 or email info@puro-wine.com for more information.

Outside Manhattan delivery:

For deliveries throughout the 5 boroughs, please call for rates. Delivery of 1-2 cases to Brooklyn, Queens or the Bronx will start at $35 flat rate.

Shipment within the US:

Wine shipment arrangements are available by UPS Ground Monday through Friday. Shipping costs will be calculated at the time of checkout. During extreme temperature conditions, we recommend that you ship your order via express service, or we can hold the shipment for you until weather conditions assure safer transit for your wines.

We are not responsible for weather, transit or other related damage to wines.

For other states, it may be possible to make other shipping arrangements, such as to a local state liquor store where you can pick up your purchase. Please contact Puro Wine at info@puro-wine.com or 212-925-0090 to inquire about individual circumstances. Please be advised that due to state regulations, there are some states into which we cannot ship wines at all.

Please note that due to changing regulations the list of states to which we ship may change without notice, and we may not be able to ensure the ability to ship to a state before the day of an order. Under certain circumstances we may be required to charge and remit sales, use or other taxes to the state to which wine is delivered.

We can ship wine-related accessories directly to your residence in any of the 50 states.

Order Notification Email

After you place an order, you should receive an automatic order notification via email. This means we have received your order, but have NOT PROCESSED the order or CHARGED your credit card until we verify availability and pricing. If there is a problem, we will contact you before we proceed. If all your ordered items are in stock, we then process the order.

Your credit card is charged when the order is processed for release to the delivery service or common carrier. Please look over this order notification email carefully and let us know immediately if there is either an error in your order, or if you simply wish to change it. If you notify us right away, we can typically fix your order before it is shipped.

Shipping Terms:

The title on all wine passes to the Buyer, at the time of purchase and delivery to the delivery service or common carrier, and at our retail store location in New York. The buyer is solely responsible for the shipment of wines and is responsible for any loss or damage to goods once they have left our premises. The buyer has financial responsibility for and is solely responsible for insuring wine once title has passed. By placing an order, you authorize Puro Wine to act on your behalf to engage a common carrier to deliver your order to you.

You must be 21 years of age to order or receive alcoholic beverages from Puro Wine. Any shipments containing alcoholic beverages are sent with an "Adult Signature Required" notification, and the common carrier that delivers the merchandise is required to ask and check for identification upon delivery.

Puro Wine is not responsible for shipments in the event that no one 21 years of age or older is present at the time of delivery, and buyer will be responsible for any redelivery, return or similar charges.

Various states impose limitations on the quantity of alcoholic beverages which may be purchased and brought into their jurisdiction without requiring the purchaser, the seller or the shipper to possess certain licenses or permits. Therefore, you are strongly advised to investigate such limitations and to determine the manner in which alcoholic beverages may lawfully be brought into states other than New York. You are responsible for all applicable excise, use and sales taxes due to your state related to the purchase of any taxable goods. Puro Wine makes no representation to the legal rights of anyone to ship or import wines into any state outside of New York.

Terms of Sale:

If wine is shipped to you, we contract with a third party carrier who will ship wine that you have already purchased. By requesting that your wine be shipped to you, you are authorizing us to engage a common carrier to deliver your wine on your behalf. Puro Wine is not responsible for any breakage or damage of wine by said common carrier. WE MAKE NO REPRESENTATION TO THE LEGAL RIGHTS OF ANYONE TO SHIP OR IMPORT WINES INTO ANY STATE OUTSIDE OF NEW YORK. You, the Buyer, are solely responsible for shipment of alcoholic beverage products and assume all obligations for compliance with your State's laws.

Puro Wine makes no warranty, expressed or implied, about the wine being sold except that Puro Wine is conveying clear title to the wine and, to the best of Puro Wine’s knowledge, the wine is the brand and style identified on its label. Wine by its nature is a natural product and is subject to change in the bottle over time. As a natural product the same wine may vary by batch or by year. As a result, Puro Wine makes no warranty or guaranty of the quality or drinkability of any wine sold.

THE WARRANTIES SPECIFIED IN THIS CONTRACT ARE IN LIEU OF ANY AND ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING ANY WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE.

This contract is entered into in the State of New York and is enforceable under the laws of the State of New York without regard to conflicts of laws principles. By purchasing from Puro Wine you consent to exclusive jurisdiction and venue in the state and federal courts of Manhattan Borough, New York, New York, for all matters related to your purchase from Puro Wine.

All goods are supplied from New York, New York, and must be paid for in full prior to Puro Wine’s delivery to the buyer or common carrier on behalf of buyer. All shipping costs, including insurance, are to be paid by the Buyer. New York sales tax is payable on all taxable goods delivered in New York.
